REGINA — It’s prison time for a man who committed a robbery in McLean last fall.

In Regina Court of King’s Bench Friday, 53-year-old Shahn Hunter of Regina was sentenced to 1,343 days in prison, and a lifetime firearm ban.

On Sept. 28, 2024, Indian Head RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business on Main Street in McLean, where they say a lone man, armed with an edged weapon, entered the business and stole money from the cash register, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

File Hills Police Service members assisting in the investigation found the vehicle and arrested the driver.
