YORKTON - Harvest Meats has been announced as the Platinum Sponsor of the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce’s 26th Annual Chamber Business Dinner.
“Established in 1928, Harvest Meats has been part of the Yorkton business community for nearly 100 years. With four generations of family management. Our organization works tirelessly alongside our employees to maintain a family-like atmosphere,” said Geoffrey Propp, President and General Manager of Harvest Meats at a press conference Wednesday, at which he also announced this year’s guest speaker. “From employee birthday celebrations, to staff appreciation days, we consider each and everyone of our staff a part of the extended Harvest family. Our small town roots and community-minded approach laid the foundation for the company Harvest has grown to be, and we could not be more proud to call Yorkton home.”
Propp then announced the dinner’s guest speaker will be Jennifer Barroll.
Propp said Barroll comes with a stellar resume as a speaker.
“Jennifer Barroll is a global leadership consultant, renowned for her ability to inspire lasting change, build resilient leaders, and foster high-performing teams. Her keynotes are a mix of compelling storytelling, humour, and research-backed insights that equip audiences with practical tools to lead with confidence, communicate with impact, and build meaningful connections,” he related.
“Jennifer was named one of Avenue magazine’s ‘Top 40 Under 40’ and is a recipient of Branded Magazine’s Game Changer Award. In fall 2025, she’ll release her first book, Make Work Not Suck: A Conscious Leader’s Guide for Building Teams That Thrive, which promises to be a beacon of insight for leaders seeking to foster environments where teams flourish.”
Juanita Polegi, Chamber Executive Director said the Chamber is pleased that Harvest Meats is the Platinum Sponsor of the Dinner; and that Barroll is the key-note speaker.
“Harvest Meats has been a Yorkton Chamber member for decades and has been a major sponsor of this event for several years. As platinum sponsor of the 2025 event, Harvest Meats is demonstrating the value it places on this dinner for the business community,” she said. “Jennifer Barroll, as guest speaker, will be entertaining and informative. I believe both employers and employees will learn from her presentation.”
The Chamber Business Dinner will be held Wednesday Oct. 8, at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Cultural Centre. Sponsorship opportunities and tickets are now available.
