BIGGAR – Update: SASKTODAY.ca first reported that the Biggar and Maidstone incidents may be connected and now RCMP have confirmed this. RCMP say suspects are armed and dangerous.

Original story: Biggar RCMP are warning area residents to be on the lookout for a lifted grey F350 truck with a plate starting with 720 that was last seen around Sonningdale.

RCMP say that two males in the stolen truck are looking to steal fuel.

The driver side taillight is burnt out, say police.  Police warn to observe the vehicle only and call 911 as the vehicle has rammed a police vehicle and suspects are armed. Do not approach. RCMP members are in the area pursuing the vehicle.

If you have information related to this advisory please call 310-RCMP for immediate response, or you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Earlier on Tuesday, Maidstone RCMP warned residents to watch for occupants in a grey F-350 truck with Sask plate 720 KBF who raided a home in Maidstone and shots were fired. The truck was reported as stolen from North Battleford earlier that day. The truck fled from police and continued east of Maidstone. A police pursuit was initiated and continued for 15 minutes. The truck was last seen turning north of Highway 16 and was lost in the dust from its speeding.

RCMP haven't confirmed if the two incidents are related and if it's the same vehicle involved in both incidents.
