Kurt Ratt to stand trial at P. A. King's Bench in Eric Bouchard's death

In May 2022, Kurtt Ratt was charged with first-degree murder and assault.

LA RONGE – Twenty-one-year-old Kurt Ratt of La Ronge has been committed to stand trial in the death of 32-year-old Eric Bouchard. A trial date will be set at Prince Albert Court of King’s Bench.

In May 2022, Ratt was charged with first-degree murder and assault. La Ronge RCMP say that they got a call about 4 a.m. on May 17, 2022, that shots were fired outside a home at Bells Point in La Ronge. When police arrived, they found Bouchard injured and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police say that Bouchard was raised in Buffalo Narrows but was from Stanley Mission and La Ronge.

River Miller, 23, also of La Ronge, faces the same charges in Bouchard’s death. He was back in La Ronge Provincial Court Aug. 3.
