SASKATOON - On Jan. 28, Tommy Veevee died while in custody at the Regional Psychiatric Centre.
At the time of death, Veevee had been serving an indeterminate sentence since Nov. 2, 1998, for sexual assaults.
Veevee's next of kin have been notified.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, Correctional Service Canada will review the circumstances. CSC policy requires that the police and the coroner be notified.
