Man wanted for North Battleford murder likely in Saskatoon: Police

Nolan Bird is wanted for the death of David Lapointe who was found deceased in a home on the 1600 block of 102nd Street in North Battleford on March 13, 2022.

SASKATOON – Thirty-four-year-old Nolan Bird is wanted for manslaughter in the death of David Lapointe in North Battleford and police believe he is in Saskatoon.

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) is working with Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes to locate and arrest Bird. He is wanted for 61-year-old Lapointe’s death. Lapointe was found deceased in a home at 1661 - 102nd Street in North Battleford on March 13, 2022.

Bird is about 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, as well as tattoos on his neck and under one eye.
