NORTH BATTLEFORD – There have been more adjournments for a man charged with second-degree murder in the death of his 72-year-old mother.
Walter Joseph Geering was back in North Battleford court Monday and his matter was adjourned to March 28 to be spoken to.
Geering was arrested two days after Battlefords RCMP had responded to a report of an injured person at a home in the 1500 block of 93 Street in North Battleford in June 2022. Beatrice Geering was declared deceased at the home.
The charge against Walter Geering hasn’t been tested in court.
