PRINCE ALBERT – Police are asking the public’s help in their ongoing investigation into two drive-by shootings into homes.

The first incident was at about 12:44 a.m. on Sept. 27 in the 100 Block of Macdowall Crescent.

Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) was called to a weapons complaint and when they arrived, they found evidence of gun shots being fired at a residence. There were no injuries.

The suspect vehicle, a grey newer model Dodge Charger, fled the scene at a high rate of speed after the shooting.

The second incident was at about 1:24 a.m. on Sept. 29 in the 1000 Block of 4th Street East.

PAPS were again called to a weapons complaint and when they arrived they found evidence of gun shots being fired at a residence. There were no injuries.

The suspect vehicle, a grey newer model Dodge Charger, drove away from the scene at a high rate of speed immediately after the shots were fired.

PAPS say that both incidents occurred late evening and are considered to be of serious concern for the safety and well-being of the community.

“Help Us Identify the Individuals responsible for the drive-by shootings,” said PAPS in a media release Friday. “If you have witnessed or know of any suspicious behavior, vehicles, or have relevant information, we strongly encourage you to come forward.”
