RFD jumps into action, saves one in Quebec Street fire

Heavy smoke and fire greeted crews as they arrived.

REGINA – Fire crews attended a structure fire on the 100 block of Quebec Street early Saturday evening.

Once on scene, Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire coming from the home. They entered the home, and rescued one person, who was transported to hospital with burn injuries.

An animal was also removed safely from the blaze.

By 6:52 p.m, the fire was reportedly under control and is currently under investigation.
