SASKATOON – The case against a 20-year-old woman accused of killing 37-year-old Adam Jeffery Willett was sent from provincial court to Saskatoon Court of King’s Bench on Aug. 11. A trial date will be set.

Ryah Marty Sorenson, 20, was arrested in December 2022 and charged with second-degree murder after Saskatoon police were called to a home in the 1600 block of 7 Street East at about 7:25 p.m. on Dec. 2 and found Willett’s body.

Willett is remembered for his love and passion for his music. He loved jamming with friends, playing his saxophone and guitars, according to his obituary,

"For some of us, we will always remember Adam and his dance moves, busting out whenever the song 'Solija boy' would come on over the speakers at overdrive."
