PRINCE ALBERT – Sentencing has been delayed for Brady Michael Robin who had pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation charges.

On March 19, new defence counsel Garth Bendig told the court he is still reviewing disclosure and requested an adjournment.

Robin is expected to be sentenced on 12 charges. The offences include making child pornography, possessing child pornography, child luring, agreeing or arranging a sexual offence against a child, invitation to sexual touching, sexual assault, breach of probation, failing to comply with a release order, and failing to comply with an undertaking.

After the sentencing hearing, the Crown is expected to withdraw 11 charges. Those offences include sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, sexual exploitation of a young person, distributing child pornography, and making sexually explicit materials available to a child.

Robin’s attendance was waived by Crown Prosecutor Alexandria Boucher. He remains in custody.

Robin was arrested in June 2022 after Prince Albert RCMP got a report of child luring. Their investigation determined that Robin, then 21, was conversing on social media with a female teen and the conversations were sexual in nature.
