DAVIDSON – Update: Father of one boy mourns loss of his son. Andrew’s father Marc Frustaci made it to Saskatchewan from Ontario for his son’s funeral.
“This tragedy has left me numb,” he told SaskToday.ca in an email. “I still can't believe it. I did make it to the service in Davidson, along with my spouse Kari, my parents, my brothers my uncles, Aunt, and cousins. My Uncles, Aunt, and Cousins flew out.
“I can't fly due to an ear problem and had to drive out. But my parents, spouse, and brother all came for the drive.”
Some family members weren’t able to attend the funeral, he added.
“Andrew has two brothers in Ontario. Emmett, 6, and Carter, 5,” said Frustaci. “Andrew was 12 years old, he loved being the big brother. We celebrated his birthday here in Ontario. Andrew spent his summers In Ontario. He was such a bright, funny intelligent boy. I was so proud of the little man he was becoming. Andrew loved building Lego, having Nerf gun battles, and playing soccer among numerous other activities. “Andrew was looking forward to coming to Ontario this upcoming summer, as we had plans to set him up in some acting in Toronto,” he added. “He wanted to be an actor, and in all seriousness, he would have been a great one. Andrew was born in Alliston, Ontario. He lived in Ontario almost his whole life, except for the past roughly three years. He planned on moving with me, but that could not happen fast enough. Andrew loved the idea of living in Barrie as he saw so many opportunities living so close to the big city (Toronto).
Frustaci said his son was named after him.
“Andrew was my world. His first name is made out of my middle name, as my name is Marc Andrew Frustaci.”
Update: Kristyne (Woodcock) Klassen's biological mother has reached out to SASKATODAY.ca on Feb. 25 saying that even though both fundraisers are calling Pauline and Michael Woodcock her parents, they were in fact her grandparents and the great grandparents of the three boys. Social media posts by Kristyne Klassen's family say that she was raised by her grandparents and called them "mum and dad."
Original story: A Gofundme page has been started for Kristyne (Woodcock) Klassen, the mother of the three children who died in the Feb. 18 house fire in Davidson. Kristyne Klassen also lost both of her parents, Pauline and Michael Woodcock in the fire, according to the Gofundme page.
"On Sunday February 18th our dear childhood friend Kristyne (Woodcock) Klassen lost her family and home in a devastating fire. This fire took the lives of her three young children Andrew, William and George as well as both her parents Pauline and Michael Woodcock," states the fundraiser.
"Our hearts are with Kristyne, Tom and the rest of the family. No parent should have to endure burying their child. There is no measure to the loss and devastation that is having to lay your entire family to rest. We are hoping to alleviate some of the financial burden of the funeral costs through the generosity of others," continues the fundraiser.

According to the RCMP, Craik RCMP officers went to the scene immediately. The Davidson Fire Department was already responding and found the home engulfed in flames. Several people were inside at the time of the fire.
An 80-year-old man and 81-year-old woman were pulled from the house and taken to Davidson Hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
Once the fire was extinguished, the remains of the three children were found inside the home. Autopsies for all five individuals are expected to be done in Saskatoon this week.
The fatal house fire was non-suspicious in nature, say RCMP.
