Kristen Skjonsby of St. Mary's School was among the participants in the Grade 7 and 8 badminton tournament which was held Saturday at the Estevan Comprehensive School. Skjonsby beat fellow St. Mart's student Taylor Wheeler to win the girls singles. Jaden Christofferson of St. Mary's was the boys champion. Curtis McGillivray and Tate Wrubleski of Spruce Ridge took the boys doubles title while the girls title went to Karlee Fessler and Enice Quagraine of Westview. Mackenzie Ronceray and Kaelan Holt of St. Mary's won the mixed doubles division.Chad Saxon
