The Yorkton Film Festival focuses much of its programming on
emerging filmmakers. That effort includes hosting a day for high school students interested in the medium. The event was held Thursday at
Sacred Heart High School with some 40-students for Scared Heart and Melville Comprehensive High School given instruction by people
involved in the film industry. Through the day students created actual film shorts which were screened Thursday evening.
