Bicyclist killed at P and 19th, Saskatoon

A 36-year-old male cyclist was transported to hospital by paramedics where he was later pronounced deceased.

SASKATOON — Saskatoon Police Service says a collision analyst unit is investigating following a fatal collision between a passenger vehicle and a bicycle.

At approximately 5:45 p.m. on Sept. 6, police responded to the intersection of 19th Street West and Avenue P South for a report of a serious collision involving a cyclist. The 36-year-old male cyclist had sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by paramedics where he was later pronounced deceased. Next of kin notifications have been completed and police will not be releasing the victim’s name.

The collision analyst unit is continuing to investigate.
