Driver arrested in fatal collision with pedestrian in PA

A 24-year-old woman will appear in court tomorrow, police say.

PRINCE ALBERT – One man is dead after being struck by an alleged drunk driver on the 800 block of 13th Street West.

Police responded to the call just before 1 a.m. on Sept. 8, with the 26-year-old man pronounced deceased at the scene,

They have arrested a 24-year-old woman in connection with the collision, charged with imaired driving causing death and failure to stop after a collision resulting in death.

"The accused will be remanded into custody and will make their first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday, Sept. 11," said PAPS in a media release.

Police had closed a portion of the area during their initial investigation, and have members of the Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Section continuing to investigate.
