March 26 - April 1

Unity Report

RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a business, but it was unfounded.

A 42-year-old male from Unity was charged with assault on police officer, resist peace officer and mischief after members received a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a residence.

Police received a complaint of assault but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Members are investigating a complaint of a break and enter at a business.

RCMP received a report of a coyote in Unity. Members patrolled but could not locate the animal.

Police received a complaint of theft. The complainant declined to proceed.

RCMP received a report of a noise that sounded like a gunshot. Members patrolled but could not locate the origin of the sound.

Members received a report of an abandoned vehicle in a rural area near Unity. The vehicle was not stolen and not a traffic hazard.

Police received a report of an individual damaging a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

There was also one traffic complaint, one false alarm and one false 911 call.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a complaint of trespassing. The subject of complaint was gone on arrival. Insufficient evidence to proceed.

A 29-year-old male from Wilkie was charged with theft under $5,000, mischief and two counts of fail to comply with release order condition after members received a complaint of a break and enter at a residence.

Police received a complaint of trespassing. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Members are investigating a complaint of theft.

Macklin Report

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Police received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

Members received a request to attend a residence with Child and Family Services.

RCMP issued a 72-hour roadside suspension during a traffic stop.

An individual reported locating a firearm in a rural area. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Macklin. There were no injuries and not charges were laid.

RCMP received a complaint of harassing communications. This matter is still under investigation.

Members are investigating a complaint of assault.

Members received a request to keep the peace while an individual retrieved personal property from a residence.

There was also one traffic complaint.

April 9 - 15

Unity Report

RCMP received a report of theft from an oilfield site near Winter. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report of fraud but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Members received a request from Halifax Police Service to attempt to locate an individual that may be in the detachment area. This individual was located in another province.

RCMP received a report of another theft from an oilfield site. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report of a missing person. The individual was located.

Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a moose. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

RCMP received a complaint of assault. Members spoke to the complainant and the subject of complaint. The complainant requested no further action be taken.

Members received a request to keep the peace while an individual attended a residence to retrieve personal belongings.

There were also two false 911 calls and one false alarm.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a noise complaint. The complainant did not answer upon call back.

Members attended a single vehicle roll over. The vehicle driver sustained minor injuries. This matter is still under investigation.

A 72-hour roadside suspension was issued during a traffic stop.

There was also one traffic complaint and one false 911 call.

Macklin Report

RCMP received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.

A youth was charged with assault after members received a report of assault.

Members are investigating a complaint of assault.

There was also one false alarm.
