The Yorkton RawTec Maulers officially wrapped up their 2015/16 SMAAAHL season as they held their year-end awards banquet on Saturday, April 23 at the Gallagher Centre.

The Yorkton RawTec Maulers officially wrapped up their 2015/16 SMAAAHL season as they held their year-end awards banquet on Saturday, April 23 at the Gallagher Centre.

The Maulers celebrated a successful season that saw them finish the SMAAAHL regular season in fifth place with an overall record of 25-14-5 and 55 points.

Moreover, the Maulers saw 12 of their regular players spend at least one game at the junior level this past season.

In total, the Maulers handed out 18 awards on Saturday including the MVP award and Rookie of the Year honours.

Top Forward – Keenan and Kaeden Taphorn. Rookie of the Year – Brett Kemp. Coach’s Choice Award – Kaedan Korczak. Leadership and Spirit – Carson Sass. Top Defenceman – Carson Sass. Last First Goal – Keenan Taphorn. Most Valuable Player – Jordan Schmuland.
