MEADOW LAKE - Meadow Lake RCMP seized illicit drugs and weapons in a search warrant in Meadow Lake.
RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on 1 Street East on June 20 as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officers located and seized:
- 74 grams of methamphetamine;
- more than 300 hydromorphone pills;
- three imitation firearms;
- a machete;
- counterfeit cash; and
- drug-trafficking paraphernalia.

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Police Dog Services assisted with this investigation.
Four individuals were arrested at the residence. Two were later released without charges.
As a result of continued investigation, a 35-year-old man, from Meadow Lake, is charged with:
- two counts, possession for the purpose of trafficking;
- one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; and
- one count, possession of counterfeit money.
He is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on June 23.
A woman has a charge pending.
