WILKIE – Today, the National Police Federation remembers Const. Derek William Henry Pineo, who lost life in a motor vehicle collision near Wilkie on July 20, 2012.
Reports indicate that Const. Pineo was fatally injured when his police cruiser collided with a moose in the early morning hours on Highway 14, approximately seven kilometres west of Wilkie.
