Sympathy goes goes out to the Plum families of Battleford on the recent passing of Minnie Plum on May 27. A memorial service was held at the Battleford United Church on June 9. Burial is at the Rockhaven Cemetery. Minnie was 96 years old.

At the Embroidery Association of Canada Seminar held in St. John’s, Newfoundland, this May, Marcella Pedersen of Cut Knife received second prize for her stitched picture of the Northern Lights and Inuksuk in the seminar theme competition.

Multiple partial street closures Wednesday

There will be multiple Partial Street Closures taking place Wednesday. 1431 110 th Street will be closed from 8:30 A.M. until noon, while 561-100 th Street will also be closed from 8:30 A.M. until noon. Both closures will be for changing power poles.
