Charges have been laid following the incident and police standoff on the 2000 block of 101st Street in North Battleford on Saturday morning. In custody are 18-year-old Darby Johnson and 23-year-old Marty Moccasin both of North Battleford.

Minimum wage to increase Oct. 1

The minimum wage in Saskatchewan will increase to $10.96 an hour, from $10.72 an hour, on Oct. 1, 2017. The increase was calculated using an indexation formula that has been used since 2011.
