Given the volume of travel between Alberta and Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan public health officials are informing the public about a confirmed case of hepatitis A in a food handler who worked at an Original Joe’s Restaurant and Bar in Strathmore, Alta.

On the night of June 20 or early morning of June 21 at midnight, a young female aged 14 was attacked by a lone adult male on Thunderchild First Nation. The young woman got away after she stabbed the suspect on his right forearm with a pocket knife.

Between 6 a.m. Saturday, June 20 and 6 a.m.

Monday marked another chance for City of North Battleford officials to bask in the glory of their recent national environmental award.

North Battleford council has approved the request by the Battlefords Trade and Education Centre fundraising committee for a $100,000 grant to their new building. The grant will be paid for in increments of $10,000 over 10 years.
