MELFORT — A celebration of Melfort businesses is making a return.
The Melfort Trade Alliance Chamber of Commerce (MTCC) announced their nominees for the 2024 Mel-Bex Awards.
The awards will be handed out on March 23 at the CJVR Performing Arts Theatre. Cal Gratton, executive director for the MTCC, said this is the first Mel-Bex Awards Gala that has been held in Melfort in seven or eight years.
Mel-Bex awards “Melfort Business Excellence” with many categories for businesses to be nominated.
“The awards are a celebration of the Melfort business community,” Gratton said. “It is a night to come together and celebrate.”
The Melfort Trade Alliance Chamber of Commerce would like to acknolwedge all the businesses and individuals who have supported this event, be it through volunteering, sponsorships, or ticket purchases.
The Citizen and Junior Citizen of the Year Awards will be presented that night as well.
