HUMBOLDT — Humboldt product Paige Crozon is competing at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Antwerp, Belgium.

Earlier this week the daughter of Leanne and Gary Crozon was announced as being a member of Team Canada for the event. Crozon is the top-ranked Canadian 3x3 player and is 11th overall in the FIBA Women’s Individual Rankings. Last season she helped finish second at the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Bucharest Final 2021.

The FIBA 3x3 World Cup runs June 21-26. The event features 20 women’s and 20 men’s teams. The Canadian women are ranked 14th in the world.

Last winter Crozon was the lead assistant coach for the University of Lethbridge women’s basketball team. The Lethbridge Sport Council presented Crozon with the Knud Petersen Spirit in Sport award. The mother of a three-year-old daughter was praised for being “the ultimate role model for female athletes, bringing positivity and unselfishness in everything she commits to, as she genuinely cares about helping people see their potential.”
