Re: Donation to the BTEC fundraiser for new building

Hello, my name is Kristin Charabin. Our family has a Christmas draw each year and this year, eight-year-old Joseph Charabin (grandson of Dorothy Charabin and nephew of Laurel Charabin) has decided to forego his present and has requested that we donate the $30 towards the fundraising efforts for the new building instead.

I am happy do to this on his behalf, as BTEC has been near and dear to the Charabins for a number of years. Thank you so much and we look forward to attending the annual fundraiser in February. Happy holidays to all.

Yours truly,

Kristin Charabin

On behalf of Joseph Charabin

This was Johnson's reply:

Dear Joseph:

On behalf of the participants, staff and board of the Battlefords Trade and Education Centre Inc., I would like to thank you for your generous donation to the BTEC Building Fund. A lot of children would not be as giving as you have been, foregoing a gift for themselves for the benefit of others. I think your Grandma Dorothy and Auntie Laurel would be very proud of you for thinking of Laurel's friends at BTEC and helping them to work towards getting a new building that they can go to, to work, play and stay active in the community.

We wish you a very happy holiday and hope that all your dreams come true.

Sincerely,

Ronda Johnson

Office Manager, BTEC
