CWL supports Walk for Life

The 2011 Ribbon of Signatures Campaign was Oct. 16 to 23. Members are continuing their plea to the government to consider solutions to the problem of exploitation of children on the Internet. Internet providers are not policing their customers' use of their services. Pornographers are freely distributing images of children being victimized.

Notre Dame CWL encouraged its members and all parish members to indicate their concern by signing this petition, to put pressure on the Canadian Radio Television and Telecommunications Commission to establish regulations to protect the most vulnerable of our society, our children.

A petition for a bill against euthanasia was circulated in the parish and was brought to Parliament in October by the Campaign of Life Coalition.

Several members attended this year's diocesan regional CWL workshop hosted by St. Joseph's Calasanctious CWL. The theme was One in the Spirit.

Many thanks to organizers and all parish members who once again hosted the annual Notre Dame fall supper. More than 700 enjoyed a great meal.
