Entertainment for members of Maidstone Seniors Drop In Centre was cancelled partially due to advance polls being hosted at the centre for three days and also polls on election day.

May 8, Kaiser was played with Bev Stewart, assisted by Lil McMillan, providing lunch. A draw was made for winners. They were Margaret MacEachern and Jean Stewart.

Bingo was played May 11 with Jean Smith and Margaret MacEachern doing the calling. The games were played straight through with no lunch served as most of the seniors wanted to attend the hospital auxiliary strawberry tea at the Legion Hall.

The monthly meeting was held May 6 and arrangements were made for a Father's Day Tea and Bake Sale to be held June 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. A potluck supper will be held June 24 at 6 p.m.

Catch the four tens whist was played May 16 with Bev Stewart and Jean Hartman hosting and providing lunch. High score went to Lil McMillan and low to Roy Hartman.
