Glenburn Regional Park has a bit more sparkle these days. The International Good Sam Club (an RV Club) and our provincial counterpart encourage each local chapter to 'adopt a park'. The Battlefords Beaver Chapter determined that this year they would offer Glenburn some help.

Some funds from the local chapter plus a provincial Good Sam grant were allotted and, when the park board approved the help, supplies were purchased to put new siding on the concession building and scrape, clean and repaint three camp kitchens. Thanks to Blair McIntosh and Brendan Precesky, a new metal roof was skillfully put in place and then the building could be prepared for the siding. Most of the building is completed and will be as soon as ordered materials have arrived.

Thanks to the committed maintenance crew and park management, Glenburn Park is an inviting summer destination.
