Golden Age Supper enjoyed

December has arrived and it's hard to believe this year is in its last month. Christmas activities are in full swing. It's difficult to keep up with them all.

A number of the apartment people enjoyed the Golden Age Supper sponsored by the high school pupils and their teacher Judy Franks. It was a delightful evening featuring a delicious supper and program. There were draws for different packages and when we left everyone received a rose. The people who did all the work need a very big thank you. It is nice when the older people and the young people can socialize together.

Morris Davidson spent a few days in the Maidstone Hospital but is home again. Hope everything is well, Morris.

Tillie Linkert was one of the people who went with a busload to Saskatoon where they attended the craft show at the Credit Union Centre and the Christmas lights at the Forestry Farm. There was every craft imaginable and the lights at the farm were splendid.

Tuesday morning coffee at the Pine Island Suites was spent making "white trash." Sounds awful but it is really good. It's a mixture of different cereals, Smarties and peanuts covered in white chocolate. It was fun and sure tastes good. They also read us some information where donated dollars go. It's amazing how much goes to administration and how little to the actual cause.

As the children say, only 13 sleeps till Christmas.
