Seniors' activities resume after summer break

The Maidstone Drop In September meeting was held Sept. 2 with a good turnout. The centre was used during the summer for two funeral teas and a few family events. Cards resumed Sept. 5.

The centre was used during the summer for two funeral teas and a few family events.

Cards resumed Sept. 5. High score for the card game 500 went to Dorothy Schwartz and low to Margaret MacEachern, who also supplied lunch.

Walking to Music, led by Judith Holmberg, will resume Sept 13, beginning at 2 p.m. each week. Exercises will resume Mondays at 9 a.m. instructed by Shannon Smith and are geared for seniors. The sessions will be held each Monday morning.
