The Grade 5 and 6 students of École Père Mercure participated in a provincial kinball tournament in Prince Albert.

Kinball is an interactive sport that promotes co-operation, sportsmanship and teamwork. Four players on three teams all play simultaneously. The players on the defensive team have to form a square around a ball and then follow all movements of the ball, maintaining the square formation.

Each player is responsible for a corner of the square and is placed about 10 to 12 feet from the ball.
