For two nights, Dec. 11 and 12, students of Turtleford Community School entertained and fed the community with theatre and dessert.

In keeping with the times, the students began the evening with an exciting dance number entitled Foot Loose. Flips, dips and jives were followed by three plays, some music, and dessert.

The theatrical performance was comprised of short vignettes that, at times, poked fun at the community. The second play questioned fate and destiny in a comical fashion and the last short play featured a silent clown, a police officer, a bickering couple and a prosthetic limb stuck in a trunk of a compounded car.

The musical group of Turtleford School played a number by Neil Young, which was impressive, and in the interim guests were treated to strawberry shortcake.
