Battlefords RCMP are reporting an armed robbery took place at a business in North Battleford shortly after 9 p.m. April 24.
According to police, the lone male suspect entered a business on the 1900 block of St. Laurent Drive.
The suspect was armed with a blunt weapon and demanded money from the cash register. The employee was able to fend off the male perpetrator, who then fled the business.
The employee suffered minor injuries in the altercation but did not require medical attention.
The perpetrator is described as male, tall, slim build and wearing a black hoodie and a green bandana.
