Two Meadow Lake men arrested the same night for weapons offences remain in custody and are still trying to get bail.
Cassidy Dillon Regan, 29, and Cory Bouvier, 30, were both arrested in April after the Saskatchewan Emergency Response Team (ERT) raided two homes hours apart.
Regan was charged with weapons and firearms offences, uttering threats and breach of probation.
Bouvier was charged with several firearms offences and robbery.
The two had bail hearings scheduled in Meadow Lake Provincial Court May 11 but they were adjourned.
After reports of multiple threats with firearms, the RCMP ERT obtained a search warrant for a home on the 500 block of 6 Avenue West of Meadow Lake. While they were headed to the home, they got a call about an armed man at home on the 200 block of 2ndStreet West.
While the ERT headed to the first home, the Meadow Lake RCMP went to the second home to secure and contain the residence until the ERT could arrive.
The ERT arrested three individuals at the first home after seizing a weapon and a small amount of cocaine. Regan was one of the three arrested.
The ERT then obtained a search warrant for the second home where they found a woman with a sawed-off .22 calibre rifle, a collapsible baton and several knives. At this home police arrested Cory Bouvier, as well as Monica Bouvier who was charged with weapons offences, robbery, mischief and obstruction of a peace officer.
RCMP haven’t said whether the incidents in the two homes on the same evening are connected.
Monica Bouvier was released from custody April 30. She is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on July 13 to enter a plea.
Cory Bouvier is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on May 19 for a show cause hearing.
Regan is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on May 25 for a show cause hearing.
