The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce have announced finalists in the categories for the annual Battlefords Business Excellence Awards.
A total of 28 businesses have been nominated in six categories; meanwhile the 29th nominee, Anderson Pump House Ltd., has been confirmed as the Heritage Award recipient for 2013. The Heritage Award is the only award made known before the BBEX ceremony.
Here are the nominees in the BBEX categories for 2013:

Micro Business - Learning Adventures Toys & Games; Colleen's Customized Business Service ; Collins Electric; Indulgence Studio; Mawson Saddlery Ltd. (Austin's Saddlery).
Customer Service - McGuffy's News Inc.; Bridges Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd.; Sunchild Law; Second 2 None Catering; Splish Splash Auto, RV & Pet Wash.
New Business Venture - Brio Boutique; Carpet Superstores; Snap Fitness.
Business of the Year - Grit Industries Inc.; Bridges Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd.; McGuffy's News Inc.; Cash & Carry Lumber Mart Ltd. (Home Hardware Building Centre North Battleford); Gold Eagle Lodge.
