Nov. 30, the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre held a Share the Warmth, Coats for Kids Clinic. In partnership with the Battlefords Boys and Girls Club and SaskEnergy, BDFRC gave out over 72 jackets, 67 pairs of boots and snowpants and more than 100 toques, mittens and scarves to children in need of proper outdoor gear. “We are still collecting outdoor winter gear and will distribute to anyone in need all winter long, says Executive Director Erin Katerynych.
