The North Battleford RCMP had a busy Friday with more than 40 calls for service between 6 a.m. June 27 and 6 a.m. Saturday, June 28.

The calls includedfour false or nuisance 911 calls,six traffic complaints,three false alarms and two municipal bylaw or noise complaints.

Friday

7:33 a.m. - 911 call of an intoxicated man, known to complainant, sleeping in a backyard on 105th Street.31-year-old man located and provided a ride to a sober relative's.

8:25 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1300 block of 106th Street vandalized overnight.Paint scratched and a fire extinguisher emptied inside vehicle.

9:33 a.m. - 26-year-old man has been charged with theft under $5,000 after a reported shoplifting incident at a business on Railway Avenue.

10:01 a.m. - Reported fraud, cheque forwarded to an address in Ontario to claim a prize which proved to be non-existent.Police are reminding the public that any won prize that requires the winner to pay a fee upfront to claim it is almost certainly fraudulent.

11:23 a.m. - Unwanted and intoxicated guest reported at a residence on 109th Street.Subject located and left as requested.

11:38 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1200 block of 104th Street had a window damaged some time during the night.

12:32 p.m. - Vehicle parked on 1300 block of 106th Street scratched some time during the night.

1:57 p.m. - Theft of a camera reported from a business on 101st Street.

4:16 p.m. - Shoplifting complaint from a business on Railway Avenue East.Surveillance footage attained and matter remains under investigation.

4:17 p.m. - 36-year-old man arrested for assault after a 911 call to a residence on 105th Street.Suspect later released from custody without charges due to lack of cooperation from complainant.

8:36 p.m. - 49-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on 100th Street after a call of an intoxicated male offering to give away his urine.Held in custody until sober.

8:50 p.m. - 46-year-old man arrested and charged with public intoxication, found by patrolling members extremely intoxicated and wandering around on 101st Street.

10:51 p.m. - Complaint of harassing text messages being received by unknown person.

11:50 p.m. - Unwanted guest at a residence on 93rd Street.All parties sober, subject of complaint provided a ride home to prevent further calls.

11:57 p.m. - Call of a domestic dispute at a residence on St Laurent Drive, man reported to be assaulting his wife.21-year-old man arrested on scene is facing charges of assault and resisting arrest. He has since been released on several conditions until his first appearance July 28.

Saturday

3:30 a.m. - White 1991 Chevrolet Pickup with Saskatchewan license AEX 894 reported stolen from Douglas Avenue.Still not recovered.

3:36 a.m. - Theft of a mini van on 108th Street.Stolen by a 34-year-old woman while complainant was dropping off a third person.Vehicle recovered a short time later and complainant refused to proceed with charges.
