RCMP are requesting the public to respect the privacy of the familyof two people who died in a vehicle crash near Maidstone recently.
Friday, June 27 at approximately 12:30 p.m., Lloydminster and Maidstone RCMP investigated a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a 2008 north-bound Chrysler Pacifica and a 1986 west-bound Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
Erika Bendick, born in 1932, passenger of the Chrysler Pacifica, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver Floyd Bendick, also born in 1932, was transportedto Saskatoon Royal University Hospital where he suffered major injuries and died in hospital care Thursday, July 3.
The driver of the Monte Carlo was released from hospital on July 2.
