DAVIDSON — Ken Amrud is $151,253.80 richer after winning on LOTTO MAX!

The Davidson retiree said he woke up in the morning and decided to check his ticket while watching TV and drinking his morning coffee. When he scanned the ticket on the Lotto Spot app, he was stunned.

“I just went, ‘WOW!’” he laughed. “There was no big reaction, but I thought—at this stage in my life I can really live comfortably now. This definitely helps!”

Amrud also recalls now that he had joked with the cashier in-store about the ticket.

“When I purchased my tickets, I said to the lady, ‘Can you give me a winner?’ and her response was, “I’ll see what I can do!’” he laughed. “Neither of us realized that would come true!”

The winner said he intends to put his winnings straight in the bank.

Amrud purchased his winning LOTTO MAX ticket from Lakeview Pharmacy at 11-1945A McKercher Dr. in Saskatoon. He won his prize by correctly matching six of the seven main draw numbers and the Bonus number drawn for the June 17 draw: 2, 10, 25, 36, 46, 48, 50, and Bonus 29.
