Deputy Fire Chief Brian Wilson is departing the North Battleford Fire Department.
Wilson, who had been deputy fire chief for operations and training in North Battleford, is moving on to the Moose Jaw Fire Department. He has been appointed to take on the deputy chief's position there.
The announcement was made in a news release from the City of Moose Jaw Sept. 3.
Wilson begins his new role Oct. 1, according to the release. He will be serving under Fire Chief Rod Montgomery.
Wilson's departure creates a new vacancy in the top ranks at the fire hall only weeks after the City hired a new fire chief. Albert Headrick took over as the new fire chief in North Battleford last month.
