As a result of a call about a firearms seen being carried by one of a group of males, RCMP have charged two people with firearms offences.
Thursday at 12:33 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a call indicating there was a group of males walking on the 1400 block of 101st Street and one of the males had a firearm.
RCMP attended and found the group. Two males in the group were located with concealed firearms and subsequently arrested without incident.
RCMP report a 15-year-old youth and a 31-year-old adult from the Cut Knife area are charged with numerous firearms related offences and remanded into custody.
The investigation into this matter is continuing.
