This year marks the fifth year for John Paul II Mission Team  serving communities locally and abroad.

The team of 25 students and three staff members puts in more than 2,500 hours of community service each year to the local community and travels abroad to offer more than 2,000 hours of service in global south communities.

In the past the team has completed local service work at local church parishes, Boys and Girls Club, Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre, the Cancer Society Relay for Life, The Lighthouse, Crystal’s Home, local nursing homes, The Mustard Seed, community cleanups and Communities In Bloom to name a few.

During these five years the team has traveled to Peru, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and next Christmas will be travelling to Peru to help the homeless in the shanty towns and again to share service.
