Greens nominate candidate in Cut Knife-Turtleford

The Green Party now has a candidate in place in Cut Knife-Turtleford. Tammy Fairley was acclaimed as the candidate for the riding earlier this month. Fairley, who is from Baldwinton, is employed as a nurse.

The Green Party now has a candidate in place in Cut Knife-Turtleford.

Tammy Fairley was acclaimed as the candidate for the riding earlier this month. Fairley, who is from Baldwinton, is employed as a nurse.

In a statement, provincial Green leader Victor Lau welcomed Fairley as candidate.

"Few people know the issues of northwest Saskatchewan better than Tammy Fairley. I look forward to campaigning with Tammy in the 2016 provincial election."

Fairley's nomination brings to 29 the number of candidates nominated by the party in the runup to the next election.

Also running in the Cut Knife-Turtleford constituency is incumbent MLA Larry Doke, who was renominated by the Saskatchewan Party earlier this year.
