The provincial Saskatchewan Liberals have found a new permanent leader.
Reid Hill, a 24-year-old recent University of Regina grad, was the only declared candidate in the race prior to the close of nominations at the end of August.
It is expected Hill will officially take over the leadership at a party convention in Saskatoon this November.
The Liberals had been seeking a permanent leader ever since the resignation in January 2012 of former leader Ryan Bater of the Battlefords.
Bater, who was elected to North Battleford council later in the year, resigned as leader just months after the party finished with less than one percent of the vote in the 2011 provincial election.
The leadership had been filled by Greg Gallagher on an interim basis since then.
