Info sought on bullet holes in SaskPower equipment

ST. WALBURG — RCMP are seeking information from the public in an investigation into how two SaskPower regulators came to have been hit by bullets.

Turtleford RCMP has been advised by SaskPower of vandalism that occurred sometime between October 2021 and March 2022. Two regulators appear to have been intentionally shot at and have multiple bullet holes. The damage caused is estimated to be more than $50,000.

The regulators are located along Highway 3 near the St. Walburg gun range on the south side of the highway. Police continue to investigate this occurrence and are seeking the public's assistance.
