Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation has announced their longtime executive director, Claudette McGuire, will be retiring.
She has announced her retirement effective July 31. In a statement, BUH Foundation states: “As a foundation, as well as those in our community who have experienced the services themselves or through family and friends, we owe Claudette a tremendous amount of gratitude for what she has accomplished during her time in the role.”
They note that since McGuire joined the foundation as executive director in 2009, more than $8 million has been raised through initiatives such as the “On Air: for Healthcare” radiothon and through year-round events associated with the BUH Foundation.
The BUH Foundation has announced that longtime employee Shauna McGifford has accepted a temporary secondment into the executive director role until Sept. 30.
