Mental health walkers arriving in Lloydminster today, left Saskatoon Sept. 10

The group has raised $30,000 so far towards their $50,000 goal

LLOYDMINSTER - Mallory and Christie (center) will finally finish their Mental Health Awareness Walk and Fundraiser. They left Saskatoon on Sept. 10 on National Suicide Prevention Day and walked to Lloydminster. They are currently on Highway 16 and will arrive in Lloydminster today. Walking with them on Sept. 15 between Lloydminster and North Battleford are Kurt Price, right, and Tricia Hunter.

The money raised from the campaign will go towards helping Lloydminster and surrounding communities by funding new positions for community outreach support workers and mental health community educators.
