North Battleford's airport is receiving funding from the province through the Community Airport Partnership program.
The government announced Tuesday that North Battleford is one of 15 airports in the province receiving funding under the program to offset costs of various upgrades and repairs.
In the case of North Battleford, the city is receiving $25,000 that will go towards rehabilitation of the drainage system.
The program has been in effect since 2007. Overall the province is providing $700,000 in funding to the Community Airport Partnership.
