North Battleford RCMP have charged three adults and a youth with multiple firearms related offences in a weapons trafficking investigation.

NORTH BATTLEFORD – North Battleford RCMP have charged three adults and a youth with multiple firearms related offences in a weapons trafficking investigation.

Christopher Daniel Ludviksen, 37, and Adam Morin, 32, both of Glaslyn, Renelle Bugler, 25, of Lloydminster, Sebastian Sanderson, 22, of Saskatoon, and a young offender were arrested.

Morin is charged with four counts of transferring a firearm knowing he wasn’t authorized to, four counts of possession of a restricted firearm at a place other than a place he was entitled to possess it, possession of a firearm knowing that the serial number had been altered, and three counts of unsafe storage of a firearm.

Bugler, Ludviksen, and Sanderson were each charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, four counts of unsafe storage of a firearm,  four counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm/prohibited weapon or restricted weapon, three counts of possession of a restricted weapon/prohibited weapon with ammunition without a license, two counts of possession of a weapon obtained by crime, and one count of possession of a firearm knowing that the serial number had been altered.

Ludviksen is additionally charged with five counts of weapons possession contrary to an order and failing to surrender authorization.

The youth was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

Ludviksen has a bail hearing Tuesday in North Battleford Provincial Court. 

According to police, they received a report on March 18 of an unwanted person inside a home on 33rd Street in Battleford. The police investigation led to RCMP obtaining a search warrant where they seized four firearms, including two semi-auto handguns. They also seized a significant amount of cash and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine.

RCMP North Battleford General Investigation Section took over the investigation into the origin of the seized semi-auto handguns and on March 24, with the assistance of the Turtleford/Glaslyn RCMP, they raided a home on 2nd Avenue in Glaslyn where police seized three semi-auto handguns.
